At Memora, we value the trust you place in us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and delete the information you provide when using our mobile application (“the App”).

1. Information We Collect

To ensure Memora functions properly, we may collect the following information:

• Registration data: user’s name, email, mobile phone number, profile picture, and password.

• Usage data: in-app interactions, such as event creation and photo uploads.

• Photos: images uploaded to an event by users.

• Technical data: device information, operating system, and IP address — used solely for support and security purposes.

2. Use of Information

The collected information is used exclusively to:

• Enable the creation, management, and participation in events.

• Store and organize photos shared by guests.

• Maintain data security and privacy.

• Provide technical support and improve the user experience.

Memora will not use, publish, or share photos uploaded to events.

3. Photo Privacy and Security

• Each guest can only upload their own photos. If the event owner publicly authorizes it, they may grant access to photos from other guests.

• Photos are stored privately and securely for a maximum of 30 days.

• After this period, photos are permanently and irreversibly deleted.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

• Basic personal data (e.g., esteban@email.com) is retained while the user maintains an active Memora account.

• Photos from each event are automatically deleted after 30 days and cannot be recovered. The event owner may also request early deletion before expiration.

• Users may request early deletion of their data or account by contacting our support team.

5. Data Sharing with Third Parties

Memora does not share, sell, or transfer personal data or photos to third parties, except in the following cases:

• When legally required to do so.

• To prevent fraud, abuse, or illegal activities.

• To provide storage and security services (trusted technology providers under strict confidentiality agreements).

6. User Rights

Users have the right to:

• Access the personal information associated with their account.

• Request correction or deletion of their data.

• Withdraw consent for App usage at any time (which will result in account deletion).

7. Information Protection

We apply technical, administrative, and organizational security measures designed to protect your data and photos against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

8. Technological Security

At Memora, we implement technical and organizational security measures to safeguard user information and photos uploaded through the App.

These measures include, among others:

• Data encryption during transmission to prevent unauthorized access.

• Secure storage on servers that comply with international data protection standards.

• Internal controls that limit access to information only to authorized personnel under strict confidentiality.

While we make reasonable efforts to protect data, no system for internet transmission or storage is completely secure. Therefore, using the App implies acceptance of this risk.

9. Use by Minors

The App is intended for individuals over 18 years of age. Minors may only use Memora under the supervision and consent of a parent or guardian.

10. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Users will be notified through the App or by email in the event of significant changes.
